Aria: In action paintings, no two are exactly alike but for the general pattern, yes. It is a shift from broader but softer background (very light) to a more minimalist foreground. And that's the thing I always loved about this work: It's airy almost abstract impressionist deep background moving to an almost minimalist high contrast foreground.

It's one of my favorites.

I sold this painting unstretched for $500.00. That wouldn't be the usual rate: On stretcher bars, it becomes more expensive for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is shipping but also because it is a more complete work. Paintings like this have been priced around $3,500 in my gallery.

I'm open to suggestions, including doing a related series. It's easier for me to work on more than one painting at a time. It's a good time to name your price, I think.

I really like this black and white abstract. I have never experienced with paintings that have only black and white colors in them.
I guess I should give it a try...

Hi,

I thought I left a comment, but I'm not sure...Anyway, I really love the Abstract Black and White #3. I really don't know much about abstract painting, but this one is very striking to me and I just have this emotional connection to it. Anyway, hopefully this will post, because I just wanted to know how amazing this was to me.

Thank you,

Chris

Hi,

I love this one. This one just got to me, I had sort of a strong emotional reaction to it. I just liked it right off the bat.

Thank you,

Chris

The sepia tone provides interesting contrast between the black and white. I for one like the more condensed feel of Pollack, but this is interesting work. I am anxious to see the next entries in this line of paintings, keep it up,.... -Ed
