"Okay, Now I'm officially the Crazy Cat Lady"

With cats named Jean Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo and Willem DeKooning, what did you expect?

Now, the truth is I'm just a sucker for cats, I guess. I had ONE pet ...then she was killed by a dog in her own yard. I got another, Willem DeKooning, and then I started aquiring strays - not so much becausae I wanted to, but because they were there, you know? And I didn't want them to starve.

So outside (I'm on 20 acres, it isn't like this is the city) there are several dozen feral cats. Pets total maybe 6, depending on how you count "pets" ...but I'm still not crazy ...well, wait... um... crazy in a way OTHER than being a crazy cat lady, okay. It's not like they're all in my house!

Actually, I get really tired of taking care of so many kitty cats. My cat food spending runs into the hundreds of dollars per month. It gets REALLY OLD. I do love cats, though. I just wish more people would chip in and adopt one.
