Street photography and naturalistic photo documentaries about feral cats and the underbelly of society’s decay.

The Feral Life, Back From The Show

Exhibited photo, The Feral Life - back from the Center for Fine Art PhotographySometime this afternoon, The Feral Life arrived via UPS – well packaged – from its exhibition at the Center For Fine Art Photography.  I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with my sister being in the hospital and having to take care of the farm while she is gone. I didn’t even notice its arrival.

The Center did a good job of matting and framing. My only problem now is that I’m really out of room for my personal collection (as you can see) and I’m going to have to do something with some of these works. At any rate I specified double matting and heavy UV plexi, knowing that this work will be going on to other acclaim and awards. And someday soon, someone special will own it.

Rural Street Photography Project

Woman and dog … part of my rural street photography project. Also at The Roadside Artist blog, my street photography is just part of my naturalistic documentary style. It flows from the premise that everyone is worth documenting; that all lives have inherent value. You may disagree, but that is my founding principle.

Tractor Cats

Part of the Feral Life, my documentary series examining real feral cats and their difficult lives.

Tractor Cats - The Feral Life

Even from a distance, these young cats are wary. They have never known human companionship.
