Abstract Expressionist B+W 7
Number 6 in the series of 3-D paintings rendered primarily in black and white has arrived…
This painting has perhaps 2 inches of surface relief with much variation of texture on the canvas via acrylic, krylon and clay.
I may change my mind but at the moment I feel that this is my best work to date, as far as this experimental line goes. There is so much micro-variation that if you don’t have some neural-level reaction to this work …well, you’re probably dead.
As before, serious offers are entertained.
Abstract Black+White #6, Event Horizon
Continuing the painting experiments in black and white, this work seems to me to have just the right amount of 3-D surface area. The lighting shown above is from the upper right. The painting will have a different texture if lit from another angle.
This is an experimental work. Any serious offer will be considered.
Abstract Black And White #5 – The X-Ray Starfield
Continuing experiments using black & white painting, gray scale painting with Pollock-like style on top of Pagani object-oriented 3-D painting, this is #5:
Tentatively titled X-Ray Starfield, this black and white object experiment is 24″ x 36″, acrylic, krylon, clay and india ink on gessoed stretched canvas.

Abstract Black And White #4
Following up on my experiments in black and white abstract expressionist pieces, this work is Abstract B&W #4:
Abstract B & W #4
24″ x 36″
This painting is meant to convey the mental image of a rock wall and as such, it has an enormous variation of depth, making it appear very different as the lighting changes. I found this difficult to reproduce in photos, but you will get the general idea by viewing the additional images below.
