I titled this piece chunky for the strong shapes: It as a photo-object based ink on canvas artwork with lots of contrast and multiple layers.This all started with an idea that popped into my head about strong shapes based on pieces of wood in a pile.And you know how I am, once I get an idea stuck in my head I have to see it to fruition.
To me, this is the sort of piece that is ideal for ultra-modern, cutting edge decor. If I had a penthouse apartment, I’d definitely want this on my wall! Of course, everyone has their own tastes but I find this piece to be inspirational. It has emotional impact for some reason, and is not just eye candy.
The original is available for 500, but for a limited time I’m going to go ahead and make prints available so more people can experience it.
