The Needles are companion sea stack rocks at Canon Beach near their Haystack Rock – the more famous but smaller of the “Haystack Rock”s along the Oregon coast. Here is a small pastel painting of a sunset with lots of reds and golden colors as the sun sets between the two main “Needles.”
